Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Regular Programme (under self-financing scheme) approved by NCTE
The multi-facility college was estd in 1970 and was taken over by L.N. Mithila University as its constituent unit in 1981
The Bachelor of Education programme, generally known as B.Ed, is a professional course that prepares teachers for upper primary or middle level (classes VI-VIII), secondary (classes IX-X) and senior secondary (classes XI-XII) levels
Duration: The minimum period, required to complete the programme will be one year and the maximum period allowed for completion of this particular course will be three years
After four years, no candidate will be allowed to appear at the B.Ed exam
Eligibility: Candidates with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/) either in the bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) and or master degree or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the B.Ed (Regular) programme
Intake: 100 (hundred) students will be admitted in B.Ed (regular) programme based on the performance in the entrance exam
Reservation: General category (from open merit category) 50%; reserved category 50%
Admission Procedure: Admission on prescribed form will be offered on the basis of the merit list of the applicants in the entrance test
The centre of the entrance test will be fixed and communicated
The candidates will be required to submit only the filled in application form without enclosures
The enclosures (documents) mentioned in the instructions for filling-in the application form are to be submitted later after receiving the letter of offer for admission to B.Ed
Application Form: The online application form is available on the college website www.bmac.ac.in
Eligible candidates are required to fill the form and send it to the Principal BMA College Baheri, Darbhanga-847105 along with the demand draft of Rs 1000/- (Rs one thousand only) drawn in favour of LNMUBMAC B.Ed Fund A/c, payable at Darbhanga, must reach the office up to the last date
