Applications on prescribed form are invited for admission to the following courses of the university for the academic session 2013-2014

Admission Test: There will be an All India Admission Test for all B.A. (Honours) and preparatory courses (except for 3 years Honours courses in Santali, Japanese, Tibetan and Persian under Bhasha-Bhavana), all B.Sc (Honours) courses under Siksha-Bhavana and the B.Sc (Ag) Honours course under Palli-Siksha Bhavana at centres in the following cities
Santiniketan, Kolkata, Durgapur, Kharagpur, Siliguri, Burdwan, Baharampur, Suri, Malda, Bhubaneswar, Ranchi, Patna, Guwahati, Allahabad, Chennai, Mumbai, New Delhi and Agartala
The test will be held on 12th May, 2013, Sunday
The locations of the test centers will be available in the admit card which is to be downloaded from the university website www.visva-bharati.ac.in
Admission tests for all other courses will be held at Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan, West Bengal
Reservation: In each course, admission of SC/ST/OBC/PH/VH candidates will be governed as per rules of the Govt of India
Application Form: Application fee Rs 140/- for SC/ST candidates and Rs 400/- for all other candidates
Prescribed application form and prospectus (admission kits) may be obtained in person from the designated branches of the United Bank of India (UBI) on payment of the requisite fee

Online: Candidates would have the option to apply for the examination through online application system
The online application allows the candidate to provide all information and also to upload scanned photograph and signature

The application fee in case of an online application may be paid by any one of the following ways;
Candidate can make the payment online using any of the online payment methods of Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, Cash Card, payment through mobiles (a nominal TDR charge would be applicable)
Candidates would get Instant confirmation of their payments and submissions when they pay through online payment methods
In case a candidate does not have access to an online payment method he or she can deposit the required amount at any branch of United Bank of India (UBI) using a bank deposit voucher/challan into the following account; Account Name-Visva-Bharati Admission Coordination Cell; Account No-0826050005012; Bank-United Bank of India (UBI)

Application Submission: Candidates willing to apply for more than one course/stream are advised to go through the prospectus carefully
Instructions for filling up the form and other details are given in the prospectus
Completed application forms may be submitted personally or by post or by courier service so as to reach the designated office within 16th April, 2013 positively
