Three Years Diploma Courses Admission-2013

Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT)-2013

Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshala is going to conduct Polytechnic Admission Test-2013 for admission to various diploma courses running in State Polytechnics (Govt and Private) on 19th May, 2013, Sunday from 10.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m.

The non-Himachali Indian nationals candidates of other states can also compete with Himachali general category candidates for 15% seats of the total seats

Eligibility: The candidate appearing for the PAT-2013 should have passed Matriculation examination with 35% marks in aggregate and must also pass in Science, Mathematics and English or should have appeared in 2013 in Matriculation examination or its equivalent examination with Science, Mathematics and English from a recognized board/university or its equivalent

A candidate who has appeared in Matriculation examination in 2013, shall be allowed to appear in the test provisionally and his eligibility shall be verified at the time of counseling by the Central Admission Selection Committee

Application Form: The prospectus along with necessary enclosures can be obtained between 18th March, 2013 to 16th April, 2013 from the designated sale centres against cash payment of Rs 650/- for general category candidates and Rs 400/- for SC/ST/OBC candidates

The prospectus along with necessary enclosures can also be obtained from the office of the Secretary, H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshala at Dari-176057 on cash payment of Rs 650/- for general category and Rs 400/- for SC/ST/OBC candidates from 18th March, 2013 to 20th April, 2013

Candidates can also obtain the prospectus through registered post by sending bank draft of Rs 700/- (general category) and Rs 450/- (SC/ST/OBC) drawn in favour of Secretary H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board, payable at Dharamshala, requesting for the brochure by indicating their complete postal address on receipt of the bank draft, the prospectus along with the enclosures, will be sent by post

The postal charges will be borne by the board

Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of the demand draft

The request to get prospectus through registered post along with fee must reach the board office upto08th April, 2013

The application form complete in all respects must reach the board office on or before 20th April, 2013, 1700 hours
